Sherlock Holmes and the Abbey School Mystery

By John Hall

John Hall, the author of the Abbey School Mystery, has a happy knack of placing Holmes and Watson in difficult situations and with unusual problems to solve. This case, set at the Abbey School, commences when a young schoolmaster apparently commits suicide and his sister, suspecting foul play, calls in Sherlock Holmes.

Holmes visits the school to be met by a wall of silence. He calls on his old friend Dr. Watson, now in general practice, and asks him to play the part of the schoolmaster. Watson agrees, thinking the task an easy one but little did he know how the affair would develop and it is not long before his life is in danger.
